KLINGELNBERG and ROTEC Munich
Gear technology and rotational analysis: complementary areas of expertise within one group.
Our connection
ROTEC Munich has been part of the KLINGELNBERG Group since September 2024. On 2 September 2024, KLINGELNBERG AG announced its acquisition of the company under its former name.
The Munich-based company returned to the name ROTEC Munich in September 2025. Its focus remains high-precision measurement technology for rotating components.
KLINGELNBERG
KLINGELNBERG traces its origins to 1863. The company develops and manufactures machines for gear production and precision measuring centres for rotationally symmetrical workpieces.
This brings expertise in gear manufacturing and geometrical inspection.
ROTEC Munich
ROTEC focuses on the dynamic analysis of rotating systems: torsional vibration, rotational speed, valve dynamics and transmission error.
Measurement technology and engineering services support test-bench and operational measurements, from sensor application to evaluation.
Two perspectives on rotating systems
Both component geometry and dynamic behaviour matter when developing and testing drivetrains. KLINGELNBERG and ROTEC bring complementary expertise to these questions.
